(TS) – Acer has launched a new smartphone with a 6-inch screen called the Liquid S2. Before you think this is another phone with a giant screen, hold on. Acer says it is the world’s first 4K recording smartphone. (4K refers to the horizontal resolution which are all to the order of 4,000 pixels and is usually seen in digital television and cinematography.)
That’s not enough, the Acer Liquid S2 is the first smartphone in the world to have dual speakers and Dolby Digital Plus technology. Well, the phone will deliver a stunning sound experience for their audience.
On exterior design, the Liquid S2 phone brings soft curves glass surface with Gorilla Glass 3.0 to minimize damage resistance. Inside, there are a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of onboard memory.
Like a phablet, new smartphone packs a 6-inch touchscreen display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The 13MP rear-facing camera is able to full panorama 27MP photo capturing. In additional, it brings 2MP camera on the front. The Acer Liquid S2 phablet features MicroSD card slot, 4G LTE, WiFi, NFC, and a 3,300 mAh battery. New smartphone measures are 166 x 86 x 8.99 mm.
The official price of Liquid S2 isn’t announced yet but it will be available starting October this year.
