(TS) – Acer is expected to have a significant presence at IFA 2010 Berlin (September 3-8), where it will show off a lot of products, including the LumiRead ebook reader which has been confirmed to hit German stores in October.
Rumored to cost €250, Acer’s e-reader has a 6-inch monochrome (800 x 600) E-Ink display, 2GB of built-in storage, a QWERTY keyboard, a microSD card slot, WiFi and 3G connectivity, a web browser, and an ISBN scanner that lets you scan book codes.
Availability in other markets has not been announced but it’s likely Germany won’t be the only European country to get the LumiRead in October.
