(TS) – AOC has announced that for the start of 2010 it is preparing the release of two new TV monitors, the 2290Fwt and 2490Fwt. The upcoming 21.6-inch and 23.6-inch LCD screen have a TN panel with a native resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, feature a 5ms response time, a 1,000 contrast ratio (10,000:1), 300 cd/m2 brightness and boast a TV tuner supporting PAL, SECAM and DVB-T signals.

As far as television support is concerned, the two products will boast a PAL / SECAM / DVB-T TV-capable tuner system suited for receiving ATV / DTV input. The screen aspect ratio is 4:3 (Full Screen / ZOOM1 / ZOOM2 / Panorama / AUTO) and both monitors will integrate audio output capabilities, with two 3W speakers for the 2290Fwt and two 5W speakers for the 2490Fwt. The models have a display angle of 176/160 and a response time of 5 ms.
