(TS) – Months after teasing them on its website, Asus has finally released (in Europe), its EeeBox EB1501U and EB1012U nettops which are based on the first-generation ION platform, run Windows 7 Home Premium, and provide USB 3.0 connectivity.
The two slim systems come in black and white versions and feature a 1.60 GHz Atom 330 dual-core processor, GeForce 9400M graphics, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, 10/100 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n/ WiFi, a multi-card reader, and both D-Sub and HDMI outputs.
The EeeBox EB1012U has one USB 3.0 port and costs €379, while the EB1501U includes a DVD writer and two USB 3.0 connectors but is priced at €429. Both nettops are backed by a two-year warranty.
