(TS) – On display at CeBIT, the first Asus motherboards to feature AMD’s 890GX chipset, dubbed M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 and M4A89GTD PRO, have been officially announced and are trying to make their way into stores. Both boards feature an 8+2 phase power design, support AM3 processors, boast Radeon HD 4290 integrated graphics (DX 10.1), and include the Turbo Key II auto-tune function, the Core Unlocker feature, and the GPU Boost Tool which enables easy overclocking of the IGP.

The M4A89GTD PRO series models also have four DDR3-2000 memory slots, two PCI-Express x16 slots, Hybrid CrossFire and CrossFireX support, six SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, and 7.1 channel audio. As you’d expect, the M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 packs a couple of USB 3.0 connectors.
