(TS) – Claiming to take LED mainstream, BenQ has now introduced the G610HDAL and G610HDPL, a couple of 15.6-inch widescreen LCD monitors that have LED backlights.

Both models feature the Senseye Human Vision Technology which adjusts image settings based on the content being displayed (videos, photos, games, etc), and have a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, a response time of 8ms, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 (500:1 static contrast for G610HDAL, 600:1 for G610HDPL), a built-in power supply, and just D-Sub connectivity.

The G610HDAL consumes up to 15.5W and can go down to 8.2W in Eco mode, while the G610HDPL requires 12W (5.8W Eco). The two monitors make use of mercury-free components, and are supposed to already be shipping in Latin America and the Middle East.
