(TS) – Bang & Olufsen, the global provider of high-end custom made audio and video products, has announced the launch of a cutting-edge, surround sound speaker system that presents an entirely new category of speakers to the Bang & Olufsen product portfolio. The BeoLab 14 surround speaker system will revolutionize the marketplace as it is a conveniently packaged, all-inclusive solution that delivers compact aesthetics, exceptional sound quality and a high-end surround sound performance.
B&O says the BeoLab 14 surround sound speaker system is capable to out a total of 840 Watt. Each of the satellite speakers can push out 140W, while the class D amplifier (subwoofer own amplifier) is enabling up to 280W output. It is equipped with the A/V multi connector that allowing you plug in from TV, projector, or other surround-capable devices. There are 4.1 and 5.1 digital (five satellite speakers) surround sound models.
Satellite speakers of BeoLab 14 has the vase-like design with less than 16cm in diameter and made out of aluminum. Interestingly, it is also comes with fabric coverings and you can swap it in six different colors of fabric (black, silver, dark grey, red, petroleum blue, and white) to matching your decor. This luxurious surround system has only one subwoofer in white color only.
BeoLab 14 should be available on Bang & Olufsen stores starting this June. You will found the 5.1 model of B&O BeoLab 14 at cost $4,395, while the BeoLab 14 4.1 surround speaker will cost just $3,995.
