(TS) – ZoomOver the weekend was the Spike Video Game Awards 2009, naming the very best of the year from one of our favorite hobbies.

As usual, the video game industry saves its best for the end of the year, hoping to cash in on the holiday buying season. Aside from a couple of titles, this year’s winners will be occupying a lot of the holiday time off for gamers (although many of these are so irresistible that they’ve likely already been cracked open and well-played).
