Buffalo Japan has released their 2.5-inch SSD that designed for notebook, called SHD-NSUH series. Its SSD is supports Windows XP/Vista/7, and Mac OS X 10.5 or later OS. Buffalo SHD-NSUH SSD is uses SATA II and USB connectivity.

In addition to their speeds and storage capacities of 32, 64, 128 and 256GB, the SHD-NSUH SSDs operate using a 64MB cache memory. Also, through support for the Windows 7 operating system, the storage modules even have support for the TRIM command. This feature constantly cleans up the unused data blocks in order to preserve the performance and reliability of the drives even after long periods of use.
Buffalo’s 32, 64, 128 and 256GB SHD-NSUH SSDs cost $253, $369, $637, and $1,161, respectively. The 64GB and 128GB models will become available (in Japan) this week, the 32GB SSD will debut in late January, while the 256GB drive will come about in late May 2010.Thus they are equipped with SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, and USB and supports the function of TRIM, a maximum data transfer rate in them is 186.6 MB / sec.
Dimensions of Buffalo SHD-NSUH SSD are 70×100×9.5 mm (WxDxH) and weighs up to 90g.
