(TS) – Buffalo has introduced their latest NAS devices in TeraStation series, called Buffalo TeraStation TS-XEL/R5. It is support and enhances the capabilities of hot-swappable. Because the hot-swappable, it can replace the HDD when the machine still runs.

Buffalo TS-XEL/R5 TeraStation NAS device is in 2 TB, 4 TB and 6 TB of available models. It supports up to four SATA drives in RAID 0, RAID 5, RAID 5 or 10 modes.

The station also features Active Directory integration and two USB 2.0 ports, as well as dual Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.
TS-XEL/R5 devices will ship in Japan late this month and cost $946, $1,180 and $1,535, respectively.
