Samsung Shows How Super AMOLED is Better [Video]

(TS) – Forget just regular OLED, Samsung has SUPER AMOLED to show you.

When Samsung showed off its Super AMOLED-phone last month, we were intrigued at what made it a special phone for the South Korean company. The specs were impressive, but the unique feature of a “super” AMOLED is what made it stand out.

Samsung had just released a promotional video that expressed why Super AMOLED is better than the TFT technology that’s used in the iPhone or the regular AMOLED in the Google/HTC Nexus One.

Perhaps even more impressive is that Samsung’s Super AMOLED is viewable in sunlight – something that current OLED phones can’t boast.

LG debuts KH5200 Android smartphone with 3″ display

LG Electronics has introduced the Andro-1 aka KH5200, its first Android-based smartphone to reach South Korea, LG’s home country. This new LG android phone features 3 soft keys and a full QWERTY keyboard which will be helpful to the users who love to type and send long messages, emails, etc.

There is 3 inches of HVGA display in the handset that boasts pixel resolution of 320 X 480 so as to offer crisp and vibrant images. The user friendly interface of the phone makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The KH5200 also includes WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS, an FM radio, and a 1,500 mAh battery. The smartphone will hit Korean shops next month at about $574.
