(TS) – Leica has released the X2, a new addition to the X-line of compact digital cameras. At David Report we have tried the predecessor called X1 a couple of times and have always been happy with the quality it delivers.

The Leica X2 compact camera utilized a 16.2MP APS-C professional CMOS (23.6 x 15.8 mm) sensor with a high-performance fixed Leica Elmarit 24 mm f/2.8 ASPH. Inside, it has feature maximum resolution of 4928 x 3264 pixel, sensitivity range of ISO 100-12500, and 1/2000-30s shutter speed range. Leica X2 premium camera is equipped with a 2.7-inch display, 110MB of internal memory with SD/SDHC card for expansion storage, USB 2.0 and HDMI ports.

A range of accessories, including an electronic viewfinder with a 90 degree swivel function. An optical viewfinder accessory will also be available. The Leica X2 price is £1,575 (around $2540) and will be available soon.

(TS) – There has been a massive influx of affordable tablets arriving at the market as of late. Now, it seems that another one has been added to the mix and this one comes in the form of an affordable Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet from French-based Yzi.

Priced at 159 Euro or around $170, the gadget is powered by a 1.2GHz single-core Cortez-A8 processor, a Mali-400 GPU, a 10-inch display with a native resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels and a five-point capacitive touch support. The Yzi 10-inch Android 4.0 ICS tablet also features a 512MB of RAM, a 4GB of storage space, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, Wi-Fi and 3G support. Additional specs include a USB port and an HDMI connector. Its battery provides enough juice for up to 15-hour on a single full charge.
