(TS) – The Fujitsu Arrows V F-04E is now on sale through NTT Docomo in Japan, although the smartphone’s retail cost is still a mystery. This addition to the Arrows lineup of tablets and handsets packs in a host of high-end components including an HD display, a fingerprint sensor, an high capacity battery and a quad core processor.

The handset is basically designed for the carrier’s Xi network which proffers a 37.5Mbps upload and a 100Mbps download speed, as per the device’s product page. It measures 10.8mm in thickness and features IPX5/8 water-resistance as well as IP5X dust-resistance. Taking up the task of delivering processing power is the Tegra 3 CPU from Nvidia which employs 4 cores in a 4-Plus-1 configuration with 12 core GeForce graphics. Backing it up is 2GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and responsiveness in applications. The Android 4.0 platform a.k.a Ice Cream Sandwich, runs the show here and there’s no mention if the smartphone will receive Jelly Bean.

And, of course, the new ARROWS smartphone comes with Wi-Fi with DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 and Near Field Communication ( NFC ).
The new Fujitsu ARROWS smartphone also includes some less than ordinary features such as a fingerprint reader, infrared port, antenna for receiving and recording HD programs and not least, the case which can resist water and dust.
Fujitsu released a real hardware monster. The only thing we things we think this new Android smartphone is missing, in order to “duel” with the other top Android smartphones on the market, is a Full HD display and more RAM memory.
At this time we don’t know the price of this new smartphone from Fujitsu nor the version of the Android operating system.
