Now, I-O Data collaborated with one foil have released a new luxury flash drive, namely the gold ingot USB flash drive. It is combining traditional crafts with USB flash drive. The box drive is using natural wood materials from Japan, while the drive is engraved in gold leaf, as well as shape of gold.

The gold ingot USB flash drive is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7, Mac OS X 10.4 or later. The luxury gold drive is comes in 4GB of capacity storage. It has size of 26 x 82 x 11 mm and weighs about 15g. The price of I-O Data 4GB gold ingot USB flash drive is about 8,925 yen.
