(TS) – Ryan Gavin, the Senior Director of Internet Explorer Business and Marketing at Microsoft has today confirmed that the full and final or RTM build of Internet Explorer 9 will be rolled out at the start of next week, on Monday March 14th.
The newest IE version is a big leap forward over IE8 as it includes a heap of updates, like a reworked, lighter and Chrome-inspired interface, a fresh and significantly faster Javascript engine called Chakra, HTML5 support, hardware accelerated graphics and text, a New Tab page with links to highly-visited sites, a Notification Bar, a ‘smarter’ address bar with search functionality, tear-off tabs and Windows Aero Snap tabs, Jump Lists and the Pinned Sites function which enables users to add favorite pages to the Windows Taskbar.
