(TS) – GN Netcom is once again aiming for your head, actually, just the ears as it is preparing to release the Jabra Clipper earphones in collaboration with Verizon Wireless. Set to be available from Verizon’s website and US stores, Clipper is a Bluetooth stereo headset that features noise-blocking ear buds, a clip-on with one multi-function (volume, pause/play, skip track) button, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, A2DP and AVRCP support, and, most importantly, the ability to connect two two devices at one, enabling you to jump from the MP3 player to the cell phone instantly when needed.
“We have been thrilled with the success of the Jabra HALO and feel that the market is ready for the release of another Bluetooth stereo headset, especially as the popularity of portable music devices continues to grow,” said Jonas Forsberg, General Manager North America, Mobile Division, GN Netcom. “Verizon Wireless was impressed with the CLIPPER since our initial discussions with them and felt strongly that launching it exclusively in North America would help achieve their goal of expanding stereo headset offerings for their customers.”
The Jabra Clipper has a declared battery life of 6 hours talk time, and is set to become available in May priced at $59.99.
