(TS) – Kingston is adding a pinch of green to its HyperX memory line today with the release of the new LoVo (low voltage) DDR3 kits which feature modules operating at 1.25V/1.35V and not the JEDEC-standard 1.5V or the Intel-imposed 1.65V. The lower-power kits feature Intel XMP support, make use of green-themed HyperX aluminum heatsinks and go from 1333 MHz to 1866 MHz in terms of speed.

“Kingston Technology is proud to lead the charge with memory for the new generation of energy efficient systems that yield higher performance,” said Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager, Kingston. “Energy-conscious consumers need to look no further for memory than the HyperX ‘LoVo’ line when they are assembling the components needed to achieve better PC power performance.”

The first four HyperX LoVo kits are detailed below and are backed by a lifetime warranty.
