(TS) – Kingston Technology just introduced a memory kit carrying the title of the fastest system memory in the world., The kit is running at 2400 “MHz” [2.4 billion transfers per second], i.e. 1.2 GHz in DDR mode. As expected, the kit is part of Kingston’s coveted HyperX line of memory products and carries the part number KHX2400C9D3T1K2/4GX.
The HyperX kit in question features two 2GB modules equipped with the T1 heatsink that work at 2400 MHz with 9-11-9-27-2 timings powered at 1.65V.
For now, no information on price, but we know that this memory will have lifetime warranty and will be available in the second quarter of this year.
