(TS) – Leadtek is really going all-out with the use of the Toshiba SpursEngine coprocessor based on the Cell architecture and as proof of that we have the WinFast HPVC1111, a PCI-Express card for video processing that features no less than four SpursEngine chips.
Seen below, the new card has a PCIe x1 interface, includes one 6-pin PCIe power connector, four fans, each for one SpursEngine processor, and it targets professionals who need something to give a big boost to their video encoding/decoding tasks, image processing, and such.
The WinFast HPVC1111 is expected to become available in Japan next week.
