(TS) – Lenovo’s IdeaPad line is going to expand later this month with a new Pine Trail-based netbook, the IdeaPad S10-3s. Looking a lot like the ‘original’ S10-3, the updated model has a 16mm profile and a 10-inch (1024×600 or 1280×720) LCD screen, a 98% full-size chiclet keyboard, a 1.66 GHz Atom N450 or 1.83 GHz N470 CPU, 1/2GB of RAM, a 160/250/320GB HDD or 16/32GB SSD, 10/100 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, optional 3G, a 3- or 6-cell battery, and the Active Protection System (APS) which was previously offered only on premium ThinkPad and IdeaPad laptops.
The IdeaPad S10-3s has Windows 7 Starter pre-installed and backed by the Quick Start instan-on OS, and is set to debut in mid-April with a starting price tag of $379.99.
