Almost three months after its release, the ThinkPad Edge 14 laptop has gotten a little update in the form of a new processor option, that of the 2.66 GHz Core i7-620M – a CPU which can put the other chips available (i3-330M, i5-520M and i5-540M) to shame, performance wise of course.
Choosing the Core i7 adds a hefty $350 to the price tag of the base, i3-powered Edge 14 but that’s you have to pay for extra computing capabilities.
Beside the Core i7, Lenovo’s laptop can be equipped with up to 3GB of RAM, a maximum of 500GB of storage space, a DVD writer, and a 6- or 9-cell battery. For a full scoop on the ThinkPad Edge 14 see Lenovo’s site .
