(TS) – Introduced just a couple of months ago, Lexar Media’s Echo SE family of backup-focused flash drives has now been extended to include a new, high capacity model which provides its owners with 128GB worth of storage space to keep their data safe.
The capless Echo SE drive has a USB interface, is capable of maximum read and write speeds of 28 MB/s and 10 MB/s, respectively, and comes built-in with Dmailer software from enabling data backup and 128-bit AES encryption.
“When it comes to backup solutions, a higher capacity means larger amounts of data can be easily and conveniently protected against loss,” said Jyh Chau, senior product marketing manager, Lexar Media. “We are pleased to announce the addition of the 128GB drive to the Echo SE line. With its automatic, customizable software capabilities, consumers living a mobile lifestyle can now back up a large number of files on a single drive.”
The 128GBÂ Echo SE is backed by a five-year warranty and costs $500.
