(TS) – LG have announced the release in the UK of a new 3D television geared at home users. The LX9900 will be available in 47” and 55” flavours. Both of which are 3D ready 1080p sets, LED backlit and feature 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, Truemotion 400khz, Bluetooth, DLNA and wireless connectivity.

The TV is said to be Full LED and comes complete with TruMotion 400Hz for ultra-smooth images.

The LX9900 has Freeview HD inside, offers a 10,000,000:1 Dynamic contrast ratio and 4x HDMI 1.4 ports.
And the LX9900 will be web-enabled too. Using LG’s Netcast technology, you will be able to pick up apps for YouTube, Picasa and Accu Weather.
Although there’s no official confirmation from LG, rumors have it that the 47-inch LG LX9900 will be priced between £2500 and £3000, while the 50-incher won’t be cheaper than £3600. We know that’s a lot, so better start saving and forget about your kids tuition as you’ll need a pair of glasses for each member of your family.
