(TS) – LG Electronics has introduced its new netbook that appears in March 2010, called LG X140.

This netbook is focused primarily on emerging markets, it should be coming soon in Mexico, Chile, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon, Tunisia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and so on. The LG X140 will be available in white, pink and black, as well as hot pink in Brazil.

LG X140 is built on Intel Pine Trail platform that is a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 and a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470, 250GB/320GB hard drive, 1GB/2GB of RAM, and pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter with Smart On 2.0. It packs a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1366×768 pixel, a 1.3-megapixel camera, SRS TruSurround HD, and 3G modem.

The LG X140 netbook has brings a 6-cell or 9-cell battery (with weight 1.3kg or 1.45kg).
