(TS) – Micromax A101 is now listed by Flipkart. Previously we saw the droid in Homeshop18. Micromax is yet to list the handset in their official website. However, the handset is quite interesting as it’s slightly better than A100 but not as good as A110. You can see the droid is over-priced. It costs more than A110. Therefore, you can expect the handset to flop as most of the customers would tend to buy flagship A110. The reason might be, Micromax is looking to replace A100 by this one.

The A101 smartphone is basically improved version of the Micromax A100 such as a 2100mAh battery. But it is downgrade specs from the Micromax A110 smartphone, which was officially released back in last month.
Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the A101 smartphone boasts a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 2GB of onboard memory. New Micromax A101 ICS smartphone packs a 5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. As camera features, there is a 5MP autofocus with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing.
