(TS) – Motorola has officially introduced the unusual-design mobile phone, called Motorola FlipOut. This handset is running on Google Android 2.1 OS. Motorola FlipOut Smartphone is made in rotator form factor. It has a 2.8-inch display with resolution of 320×240 pixels.
The Motorola FlipOut phone is boasts a 700 MHz processor, 512MB flash memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. In addition, new smartphone packs a digital compass, a 3-megapixel camera, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), FM radio, USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It is designed for use in WCDMA 900/2100 MHz and GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz network. The Motorola FLIPOUT with MOTOBLUR is provides up to 6 hours of talk time and 365 hours of standby. Size of Motorola FlipOut is 67×67×17 mm and weight approximately 120g.
Motorola FlipOut Smartphone will become available later this month but there is no word on pricing.
