(TS) – MSI has finished developing its latest P55 motherboard, the P55-GD85. The ATX board features two PCI-Express 16x slots and supports both Crossfire and SLI. Special about the P55-GD85 is the support for USB 3.0, as well as SATA 6 Gbps, two new standards that aren’t yet supported by the Intel P55 chipset.

The P55-GD85 is powered by Intel’s P55 chipset and features 8+2 phase DrMOS, LGA 1156 support, four DDR3-2600 memory slots and two PCI-Express x16 slots for SLI or CrossFireX setups.

The motherboard, instead, features seven SATA 3.0 Gbps ports and two ports for SATA 6Gbps. The MSI P55-GD85 is outfitted with four DDR3-2600 memory slots, which will certainly satisfy any graphics controller and/or processor used with the product. In addition, besides the obvious Power and Reset buttons, the product also has an eSATA connector, a dual Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.0 ports and 7.1 channel audio.

As it is, it probably won’t become official before 2010.
