(TS) – Sony is starting sale the notebook that designed for professionals, known as Sony VAIO Z Core i5/i7. As mentions, the ‘old’ Sony Vaio Z is packed with Intel Core 2 Duo, while the new one has Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors.
The Sony VAIO Z notebook has a 13.1-inch LED backlight display with 1600×900 pixels resolution, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M dedicated and Intel HD integrated GPU with on-the-fly switchable graphics. It is sports up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and a DVD writer or Blu-Ray combo drive.
New Sony VAIO Z laptop is equipped with built-in fingerprint reader, web camera, Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD memory card readers, microphone, Gigabit LAN, 802.11n WiFi, HDMI and VGA outputs, and an ExpressCard slot.
It is optional Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband module. The battery of new Sony VAIO Z is provides up to 6.5 hours in use.
