(TS) – Nokia outed two new sliders 24/11 – the Nokia 6700 slide and the 7230. Both are 3G capable with a focus on messaging and social networks. The Nokia 6700 slide, unlike its namesake 6700 classic, is a Symbian device. The Nokia 7230 on the other hand runs S40.

Spec wise the Nokia 6700 Slide will sport a 2.2 inch QVGA display, HSDPA and HSUPA, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and dual-LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1, Symbian user interface, and will also have a 2GB microSD card in the box, and will command a price tag of €160 and be available in 6 colours, petrol blue, purple, pink, red, aluminium and lime.

The battery is good for as much as 29 hours of uninterrupted playback! The 6700 does have a 2.5mm audio jack, though, so an adaptor is needed for those favourite headphones…
