(TS) – Nokia has launched its first C-series phone in India, known as Nokia C5. The handset is now available at Nokia Priority dealers for price tag 8,200 INR (about $175) unlocked, but customers will be able find it on normal retail outlets later this week.
As noted, Nokia C5 is running on Symbian S60 3rd edition FP2 (S60 3.2 FP2) and it is a smartphone optimized for social networking and sharing, including Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, hi5 and Friendster apps. The Nokia C5 has brings a tiny 2.2-inch QVGA display, 3.5mm headset jack, HSDPA, 3.2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, 3G enabled, 50 MB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot (up to 16 GB). The Nokia C5 also packed with free Ovi Maps 3.0 with navigation.
