OCZ just announced today of the Onyx SATA II 2.5-inch SSD, the new OCZ 2.5-inch SSD equipped with Indilinx Amigos controller. It’s name OCZ Onyx SSD with 32GB in capacity. OCZ 32GB Onyx SSD is expected to become available in the coming weeks with a price tag of just $99 (three-year warranty included).
This new and affordable 2.5-inch SSD features MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, 64MB of cache, TRIM support, a MTBF of 1.5 million hours and maximum read and write speeds of 125 MB/s and 70 MB/s, respectively.
