(TS) – The OCZ Technology Group is providing us with a blast from the past by resurrecting its StealthXStream brand for the release of a new family of solid (non-modular) power supply units for home, gaming, or enthusiast systems.
Coming in 400W, 500W, 600W and 700W flavors, the StealthXStream 2 PSUs are compliant with the ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V standards, are 80Plus certified with an efficiency of up to 85%, have Active PFC (Power Factor Correction), include SLI and CrossFire support, feature a MTBF (mean time before failure) of 100,000 hours, and are cooled off by a 120mm ball bearing fan.
“Three years ago we launched the original StealthXStream PSU line with the goal of delivering a power supply with the right balance of performance, features, and value,” said Alex Mei, CMO at the OCZ Technology Group. “The new StealthXStream 2 is the natural evolution of this popular line and features an updated core, a sleeker more compact form factor making it easy to integrate into any chassis and plenty of stable power for dual GPU platforms, and with a complete range of models to choose customers can select the perfect wattage for their unique system configuration.”
The StealthXStream 2 units are backed by a three-year warranty and have already begun hitting stores, the 500W, 600W and 700W models being found priced at $61.67, $73.76 and $86.49, respectively.
