(TS) – As expected, Pioneer Computers has started selling a next-gen ION-based version of the DreamBook Lite U11a netbook but the company also introduced a 12-inch machine based on the Nvidia platform, the DreamBook Lite U12 ION2.
Both these models are available with a 1.66 GHz (N450) or 1.83 GHz (N470) Atom CPU, 1/2GB of RAM, the GT218 GPU, a hard drive for up to 1TB of storage, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5G, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, and Windows XP, Vista or 7.
The DreamBook Lite U11a ION2 has a 11.6-inch (1366×768) display and starts at $465, while the DreamBook Lite U12 ION2, with its 12.1-inch screen, goes up from $503.
