(TS) – Keeping itself busy, TUL Corp. is set to soon introduce a new Radeon HD 5830 card under the PowerColor brand to better take on Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 460. The upcoming card is shorter than the first HD 5830 released by PowerColor and also has a downgraded cooler (two heatpipes instead of three).
The HD5830 1GB GDDR5 V2 includes 1120 Stream Processors, a GPU clock of 800 MHz, a 256-bit memory interface, a memory frequency of 4000 MHz (yes, it’s stock), CrossFireX support, and DVI, HDMI, plus DisplayPort outputs. Expect to see this one in stores next month.
