(TS) – Sapphire Technology’s motherboard line-up is about to get a long-awaited update with the introduction of the PURE CrossFireX 890GX, a model powered by the 890GX and SB850 chips from, who else, if not AMD.
Pictured below, Sapphire’s new board features support for AM3 processors, has Radeon HD 4290 DirectX 10.1 integrated graphics backed by 128MB of DDR3 SidePort memory, four DDR3-1600 memory slots, two PCI-Express x16 slots for CrossFireX setups, and six SATA 6.0 Gbps ports.
The PURE CrossFireX 890GX also includes a debug LED, one eSATA port, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, and D-Sub, DVI, plus HDMI output. No word on pricing yet.
