The Japanese company, Sharp has showcased a new prototype of mobile device that has twin-lens 3D camera at IFA 2010 (Berlin, Germany, 3-8 September). It has look like a smartphone design but only had function of taking 3D pictures and display 3D content.
This Sharp prototype 3D camera has brings two 5 megapixel CMOS sensor and enabling record 3D HD video with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (720p). Its dimensions are 13 x 43 x 8 mm.
It is packs a 3.8-inch 3D LCD panel with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) and uses parallax barrier that partially two slightly different images for left and right eye, as well as viewable with the naked eye.
