On the first days of showing, Skyfall has brought about great success for the producer. In Great Britain alone, the turnover of the 23rd episode about the genius spy is USD$32.4 million within 3 days of weekend.
This is the second biggest turnover in the British cinema history, only after Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows (Part 2).
Skyfall is the movie that audience all over the world is waiting for during the month of November.
The movie also breaks the record about the number of audiences coming to the cinema on Saturday when 007 fans are fully seated in the filming room to enjoy the movie as soon as possible.
Skyfall also achieves an impressive international turnover of USD$77 million. Some high turnover places include France: USD$9.1 million, Russia: USD$8.6 million and Belgium: USD$1.4 million. In Asia, Korea is the biggest turnover market of USD$6.1 million.
In South America, Skyfall achieve the great record about the James Bond film with the biggest opening day turnover of USD$3.2 million. This number will be much higher when Skyfall opens in United States of America – the biggest film market in the world on November 9.
Casino Royale is still the best hit of James Bond movie up to date.
A few days before, director Sam Mendes stated that may be he will not direct any other James Bond movies. However, with impressive figures received, the producers can hardly let him go.
Meanwhile, script writer John Logan has received the invitation of the next James Bond episode. This movie is planned to have two parts and does not base on any novel of the writer Ian Fleming.
