(TS) – This weekend we found a new notebook on Asus official website: Asus Eee PC 1225B. This an AMD powered notebook with 11.6 inch screen and 1080p Full HD display, a dual-core 1.65GHz AMD Fusion E-450 APU or a dual-core 1.0GHz C-60 APU, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS pre-installed. It can be said that this is the next version of Asus Eee PC 1215B which was released earlier this year.

(TS) – We’ve been waiting a long time to see an Android devices with the quad-core Kal-El Tegra 3 processor. ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih the Chinese company’s next generation of Transformer tablet during an interview with Walt Mossberg at AllThingsD’s AsiaD event today. The next-generation Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet will add the word “Prime” to its ending instead of the presumed digit “2″. With the new Transformer Prime Asus plans to introduced their first NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core Android tablet to the world.

The Transformer Prime features the same 10.1-inch, WXGA (1280 x 800 pixel) screen resolution as the original, but it measures a scant 8.3mm (0.33in) thick. The Prime sports USB and mini-HDMI ports, an SD memory card slot, and a 14.5 hour battery. Like the original Transformer, the Prime can be docked in a keyboard that makes it look like a full laptop. It was not clear if the 14.5-hour battery life was dependent on being docked in the keyboard or not.

Currently, there is no word on which version of Android OS, the tablet will be running on. Hopefully it will be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. If not it can be upgrade to same in the coming year.

(TS) – Asus has started selling Eee PC R011PX netbook running Ubuntu Linux operating system in Germany. Priced at $300 (€209), the netbook is powered by Intel Atom N455 1.6GHz processor and provide other standard features. This mini laptop comes with a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card, a 2GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 0.3MP webcam, an SD/MMC card, 10/100 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n/ WiFi, three USB 2.0 ports, and a 3-cell (2200 mAh) battery.

The device is the Eee PC X101 and it will feature goodies to include a 10 inch (1024 x 600) display and Intel Atom N435 processor. Other specifications on the Asus Eee PC X101 include two USB ports, a 6 cell battery and a 3.5mm audio jack.

(TS) – Asus will soon be letting loose a successor to its U36Jc laptop called U36S which features a 13.3-inch(1366 x 768) display. This is an ultra-thin notebook, which has a magnesium-aluminum alloy housing that fingerprint-free, light, and tough.

As expected, Asus’ laptop will run Windows 7.

Asus releases three new EeeTop series all-in-one desktops in Europe

(TS) – Asus today announced the continental EU introduction of three new EeeTop PC ET2010 all-in-one desktops boasting 20-inch (1600 x 900) multi-touch displays and running Windows 7 (Home Premium), the ET2010AG, ET2010PNT and ET2010AGT.

The ET2010AG has a recommended price tag of €549 and packs a 1.6 GHz Athlon II 250U X2 dual-core processor, a Radeon HD 5470 graphics card, 2GB of RAM, a 500GB (7200 RPM) hard drive, and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. Double the amount of RAM and you have the ET2010AGT which costs €679 (there may be other pluses here).

As for the ET2010PNT, it costs €649, and has a 1.66 GHz Atom D510 CPU, a next-gen ION GPU, 2GB of RAM, a 500GB (5400 RPM) HDD, and a 1.0 megapixel webcam.

All three all-in-one PCs include a DVD writer, a 5-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and a HDMI output, and are backed by a two-year warranty.

(TS) – Asus has now announced the European release of the ML238H, a 23-inch widescreen LCD monitor that features LED backlighting and a new stand boasting the Ergo-Fit II technology which enables easy angle adjustment.

Seen below, Asus’ shiny new display has a slim (16mm) profile, a touch sensor bar in front, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2ms (G2G) response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1, a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, a headphone jack, plus D-Sub and HDMI inputs.

The ML238H is backed by a three-year warranty and has a recommended price tag of €249.
