According to Donanimhaber.com, MSI is working on Radeon HD 5870 Linghtning and prepping to show at CES 2010.

There is no official information but if we consider GTX 260 and GTX 275 Linghtning models, HD 5870 Lightning will probably use high quality components, custom design cooler and come with special overclock panel.

The upcoming graphics card will feature a proprietary cooler (probably a 2-fan solution), a custom PCB that’s taller than the one of stock models, and will make use of two 8-pin PCIe power connectors (dual 6-pin on reference HD 5870s), for overclocking reasons.

The R5870 Lightning will likely be factory overclocked and will boast the ‘usual’ – 1600 Stream Processors, a 256-bit memory interface, GDDR5 memory, DirectX 11 support, CrossFireX and Eyefinity, as well as DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. More will about the card will probably come about at CES next month.

The Radeon HD 5870 “Six” or Eyefinity Edition has taken some time to pose for camera over at pcpop.com. The card boasts twice the amount of memory over the standard model and features six Mini-DisplayPort outputs.

The card has no DVI or HDMI outputs as these were replaced by six impressive Mini-DisplayPort outputs and the “upper” portion of the backplate has been reserved for a heat exhaust. In addition to more memory, AMD had to include both 8-pin and 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors, while the regular 1GB non-Eyefinity version has two 6-pin connectors.

Apart from the display outputs, there are a few more notable changes. The Eyefinity edition features 2GB of memory, and is powered by 8-pin + 6-pin PCI-e power connectors, as opposed to 1GB and 6+6 pin for the standard HD 5870. A full slot is opened up for an exhaust vent, as six mini-Displayport connectors fit into a single slot.

Futures:
- The maximum output of 8192×8192 resolution, but because of output interface specification and display device resolution limits are not yet reached the theoretical value;

- Common pattern is a combination of six 30-inch display, to achieve a resolution of 7680×3200;

- Support windows7, three kinds of Vista. Do not support Linux operating systems and Windows XP.

Windows 7, DirectX 11 and Games :

It was at the presentation of a lot of talk about DirectX 11 and of course Windows 7, games could not be missing. Thus, the new DirectX been proposes 11 techniques and the new games. BattleForge is according to our information even before the launch of Windows 7 to get an update, which furnish the DirectX 11 support.

Besides BattleForge was surprisingly STALKER: Call of known Pripyat, which will also support DirectX 11th Also Alien Vs. Predator has been named along with Colin McRae Rally: DiRT 2 as the new DirectX 11 titles, which will look stunning as specified by our source.

Radeon HD 5950 with the same clock speeds and only less shader units of performance they would of probably too close to the Radeon HD 5970 available.

To the Radeon HD 5950 is suspiciously gone quiet, at first said the card should appear earlier and now stands on 19. November but the Radeon HD 5970 in the starting blocks.

Today, we are then stumbled across another interesting information, the Radeon HD 5950 is no dual-GPU card, but be an old acquaintance, to be held only under a new name
