The Central Park Five is a super documentary movie telling one of a rape case in 1989 when a white woman was raped by a group of teenagers. The Central Park Five can be a lesson for all of us because of its story about the black and Latino kids spending time in prison for the criminal act. The Central Park Five is supposed to be a fun place where people go there for pick nick, talking to friends and enjoying themselves. This unbelievable act of crime can really wakes up the human being part in us. The Central Park Five can be one of the best documentary movies of the year and it is rated 9.0 out of 10 in IMDB site promising a worthwhile movie for your observation.
Director Ken Burns in The Central Park Five is a very famous documentarian who has been known for Lewis & Clark: The Journey of the Corps of Discovery in 1997, Frank Lloyd Wright in 1998, The Statue of Liberty in 1985 and Brooklyn Bridge in 1981. The Central Park Five has also another brilliant writer of David McMahon who has been known for The War in 2007, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea in 2009 and Mission Rescue in 2002.
The Central Park Five can be a fantastic movie to watch because of its real nature with interview of many actual people involved in the action. Actor Calvin O. Butts III also acted in the movie Fallen Champ: The Untold Story of Mike Tyson (1993), Adam Clayton Powell in 1989, and Letter to the President in 2005. The Central Park Five has the real people inside such as Angela Black as herself, Natalie Byfield as herself, and David Dinkins as himself.
